What is vivid colors? - Photography color effect

Vivid colors means a color tone is dominant or it is easily distinguish between each color tone.(Not same as saturation, saturation increases all color by a level but vivid reduces a color range)



Using a channel mixer pic above (from the gimp, adobe photoshop or paint.net), set the red channel to red +110 %, green -5 %, blue -5 %; the green channel to red -5 %, green +110 %, blue -5 %; and finally the blue channel to red -5 %, green -5 %, blue +110 %. You can change the values according to your own personal taste.
